Labour Holdings cc is an IT solutions company which focuses on the marketing and distribution of software relating to Labour Relations and other online business solutions. It enjoys the distribution and development rights in Laborite®, whose copyright vests in Celeste Allan and Associates cc. The original members of Labour Holdings, Celeste Allan, a practicing Labour Attorney and Hendrik Enslin, a qualified IT Engineer, have jointly developed Laborite®, a tool which has proved to be of value to State and Para-Statal Institutions, as well as Public and Private organisations and companies.
Laborite® was developed based upon the cases that Celeste Allan has handled on behalf of many companies who have dismissed employees, and have faced severe awards handed down by Bargaining Councils, CCMA and Labour Courts. In most instances these companies have failed to follow correct procedures or having followed correct procedures, have failed to keep proper records of their disciplinary actions. This has resulted in excessive legal costs being incurred by the companies concerned as well as, in most cases, monetary awards being made against the company.
