Laborite® is an interactive, web-based, decision-making application to assist line managers in their day-to-day management of labour related issues. A compact version called Laborite® Lite was launched in 2014 specifically set up for small to medium enterprises (SME’s).

In the main, SME’s do not employ Human Resources and Industrial Relations managers on a full-time basis, but are nevertheless required to comply with South African labour legislation. This means that these businesses need to ensure that all employees are issued with compliant contracts of employment, follow codes of good conduct in managing their employees, and ensure that, when taking disciplinary action, or dealing with poor performance issues, the owners and managers of the SME’s, follow due process.
