Laborite®'s module on managing discipline generates contracts of employment, whether permanent or temporary, at a click of the button, and then produces the myriad of forms and documents needed to address any disciplinary matter that may arise in the workplace. The audit trail ensures consistency across the whole company and a uniform approach to all events giving rise to disciplinary action by assisting the manager through the entire disciplinary process and providing guidelines for:

• investigating an offence
• gathering and assessing the evidence
• taking the appropriate action
• issuing of warnings • preparing for a hearing
• chairing a hearing
• preparing for an appeal hearing
• chairing an appeal hearing
• administering dismissals

* Each module has been developed to take cognisance of the guidelines contained in labour legislation, as well as those guidelines handed down by our various labour tribunals and courts. As a result, in the event that a labour dispute is referred to one of the labour tribunals or courts, the organisation is able to show that its actions have been substantively and procedurally fair, thus limiting the risk of adverse awards and orders.
